This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit thesilentchapters.com, send a message through the contact form, or request access to Unsent Letters. This is a personal journal, not a company — there's no marketing team or ad department behind it, just me.
I only collect information you actively give me:
I don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and I don't collect browsing behavior beyond what's described here. The site does use your browser's local storage for a few small functional things — remembering which journal entries you've liked, and holding your Unsent Letters access link once it's been granted. None of that leaves your device or gets sent to me.
I don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, and I don't use it for anything beyond what's listed above.
Contact messages and Unsent Letters requests stay in the database until I remove them. Approved access tokens for Unsent Letters stop working automatically after 60 days, regardless of whether they're deleted.
If you'd like me to delete your message, your access request, or any information I have about you, just email me at hello@thesilentchapters.com and I'll take care of it.
This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If anything here changes — say, if I add a new feature that collects information differently — I'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
